Single storey rear extension to allow for a larger kitchen and dining area. The original patio area had to be excavated in order to make room for the extension. The paving slabs were removed and stored on site for future use. The extension was constructed in cavity brickwork with a low profile roof with two rooflights. The existing kitchen was removed and the opening made larger to make an open plan kitchen dining area.
The rear patio area was required because the clients garden slopes away from the property. Retaining walls were built in 215 hollow concrete blocks. The original paving slabs were reused.
